The American Board of Podiatric Medicine is pleased to announce that, in the midst of an international health pandemic, the Examination Committee, led by Drs. Coleen Napolitano and Bryan Roth, has created and will execute a unique hybrid examination for the 2020 cycle year. “We had to pivot quickly in the Spring due to COVID-19 to ensure that our candidates not only had the most up-to-date information about our examination process, but also to modify the process itself because of seating restrictions in May when our qualification examination would have normally taken place” according to Dr. Roth.

Dr. Jim Stavosky, ABPM Executive Director noted “Over 750 candidates will sit for the ABPM Hybrid Certification this Fall, demonstrating again the importance of this credential, the process, and our continued desire to provide the highest quality examination that Certifies Today’s Podiatrist. If the pandemic has shown us anything, it is the critical need for quality, trained podiatric physicians and surgeons who are on the front lines in protecting patients, particularly those with wounds and other diabetic and metabolic pedal complications”.
