Lee C. Rogers, DPM is the Chief of Podiatry and Associate Professor/Clinical of Orthopaedics at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He the Louis T. Bogy endowed professor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at UT. He has authored over 150 published papers, books, and book chapters on limb salvage and policy and practice and he has delivered more than 500 lectures around the world.
Dr. Rogers is the Associate Editor of the Diabetic Foot Section for the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Rogers is the past chair of the Foot Care Council of the American Diabetes Association. He received the Rising Star Award from the American Podiatric Medical Association in 2011 for outstanding national accomplishments. He was selected as Educator of the Year from the California Podiatric Medical Association and given Master's Award from the American Professional Wound Care Association.
Dr. Rogers has been on the ABPM's board of directors since 2015 and his accomplishments include founding the Board's Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) program, establishing national guidelines for hospital and surgical privileges for DPMs, and founding the American Board of Podiatric Medicine International, a separate organization supported by ABPM that is certifying international podiatrists.
