The American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) will soon open applications for the upcoming certification examination cycle.

The ABPM Board Certification Examination is designed to assess clinical knowledge and decision-making through both didactic and case-based components. The examination is developed in collaboration with psychometric experts and administered through a secure testing platform.

Candidates who have completed or are in the process of completing a CPME-approved residency program, and who are within their board eligibility period, are encouraged to review the application requirements and begin preparing for the upcoming cycle. In certain circumstances, candidates who are outside of the standard eligibility window may be considered through a waiver process.
