Continuing Certification (CC) is ABPM’s updated process for maintaining board certification through an annual, 60-question online assessment. The program is designed to be flexible and educational, allowing diplomates to complete the assessment at their convenience while reinforcing ongoing learning.

Must follow the 10 year CC process
If certified between 1994 and 2011 and did NOT participate in MOC in the past, must first take the ABPM Competency Assessment at the end of your 10-year cycle before enrolling in the new CC process.
Certified 25 years or more
May alternatively follow the more rigorous 10 year CC process
